Wacky Quacky Duck Race
Class one made their own ducks and took them to the Grove to race them in the stream. They accurately measured the time it took each duck to complete the course (measuring to two decimal places!).

Cheltenham Half Marathon
On Friday mornings, children from across the year groups and some parents too, meet before school for a one mile run. After 12 of these runs have been completed, the children can join in the last mile of the Cheltenham Half Marathon to gain a medal.

Early Morning Fun Run
Once a month, we hold an early morning Fun Run before school led by Run England coach, Kerry Newell. It is open to all children and parents and is followed by toast and juice in school at the breakfast club.

Solar Eclipse 20th March 2015
The school enjoyed a once in a lifetime hands-on science lesson, viewing the solar eclipse on the morning of 20th March. We used a variety of methods to view the eclipse safely. These included a range of home-made pinhole viewers, solar eclipse glasses, a projection through a pair of binoculars and even a colander!

Cross Country Trials
Our Cross Country running club achieved great success at the Stroud Cross Country Running trials on 2nd and 3rd March. They came home with a clutch of medals including a 1st place, 2nd place, 4th place and 5th place. Three runners will go on to take part in the County Finals.
